(DECATUR, NE) The new Green Lantern Steakhouse in Decatur, Nebraska is open for business. The local landmark burned down in February 2008. But the community rallied around the restaurant, rebuilding it from scratch. Construction began in November and wrapped up this summer. The new steakhouse offers the same family atmosphere with an expanded menu. It's the 50-year history of the Green Lantern that keeps people coming back. 
         
"I don't think anyone would expect a town of 600 people to be able to have such a beautiful restaurant in it. And it's not just the town, it's the surrounding communities that help make it go," says Tom Josephsen, Green Lantern General Manager.

Almost everyone pitched in to help relight the Green Lantern. And now people come from all over the Midwest to try the tasty tradition.
