Thurston County, Nebraska is boasting a welcome addition to its courthouse. The 2,100 square feet of new space includes elevators to help the county become ADA compliant. The projects $900,000 price tag has been the county's focus.

Since the project began its planning stages back in 2001. The building now houses handicap accessible restrooms and a large waiting area for the county's court rooms. Thurston county funded nearly two-thirds of the project with grants.
