The Woodbury County Coroner has identified the body recovered along the Missouri River Monday night as Bruce Wright. A boater found Wright's remains about 11 miles from where the South Sioux City man went missing over the weekend. The Iowa DNR says Wright was thrown from a boat Saturday when the driver slowed suddenly. Another rider, Oscar Gomez of South Sioux City was also thrown but rescued. Crews flew Gomez to Mercy Medical Center with prop cuts to his leg. The driver, Samuel Gomez, faces charges of boating while intoxicated.
