A weekend accident left one man dead, and caused I-29 northbound and southbound lanes to close from Singing Hills to the airport exit.

It happened around 3:00 Sunday south of Singing Hills. Two vehicles overturned, and 61-year-old Thomas Bloyer of Castana, Iowa, was found trapped inside his pick-up truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle had non-life threatening injuries. Police are still investigating the crash.
