(NEBRASKA) Industrial parts maker Eaton Corporation has announced more layoffs for employees in one of its Nebraska plants. On Monday the company will temporarily lay off 17 employees from its Kearney plant. There's no word yet on how long those workers will be off the job or if it's permanent. Last month Eaton laid off 30 workers at Kearney. And in January, more than 100 employees were laid off in Spencer, Iowa and almost 20 in Kearney and Hastings, Nebraska. The company makes valves and gears for automakers and employs about 80,000 people worldwide.
