Help our Hometown Students by Packing the Bus with school supplies!
For three weeks this summer, KMEG 14 and the above sponsors will be leading a drive to assist students in Siouxland who need school supplies. YOU CAN HELP! Visit one of our sponsors and donate school supplies to help us PACK THE BUS! (sponsor locations below)
Anytime Monday, July 19, through Friday, August 6, just look for the big red KMEG 14 barrel at WinnaVegas Casino, Security National Bank, or Sioux City, South Sioux City, and LeMars Hy-Vees to drop your school supplies. Or, on the days listed below, from 4pm to 7pm, look for the KMEG news team and big yellow bus in the Hy-Vee parking lot!

Parents who wish to have their students receive supplies from KMEG 14's Pack the Bus drive must contact their child's school principal. The principal will then arrange with the district to provide supplies for that child, based on need. Our partners for Pack the Bus are the Sioux City Community School District, the South Sioux City School District, the Le Mars Community School District, Winnebago Public Schools, and the Dakota Valley School District. Only students from those districts are eligible to be beneficiaries of Pack the Bus.
